From [a]Betah and from (A)Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took a very large amount of bronze.

Now when Toi king of (B)Hamath heard that David had [b]defeated all the army of Hadadezer, 10 Toi sent [c]Joram his son to King David to [d]greet him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and [e]defeated him; for Hadadezer [f]had been at war with Toi. And [g]Joram brought with him articles of silver, of gold and of bronze.
